HELMET Drummer JOHN TEMPESTA To Take Part In Online Chat

November 19, 2005

Veteran heavy metal/hard rock drummer John Tempesta (HELMET, ex-WHITE ZOMBIE, ROB ZOMBIE, EXODUS, TESTAMENT) will be appearing in a live chat on www.zildjian.com on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 9:00 p.m. EST to answer any questions and chat with fans.

HELMET are rumored to have split with Interscope Records following the disappointing sales performance of their latest CD, "Size Matters", which came out in October 2004.

HELMET enlisted Jeremy Chatelain (ex-HANDSOME, JETS TO BRAZIL) to handle the bass duties for most of their recent touring activities. Chatelain filled the slot left vacant by the departure of Frank Bello, who has since gone on to rejoin the reunited classic lineup of ANTHRAX.
