HELMET Anounces 2009 European Tour

December 9, 2008

HELMET has announced January and February 2009 European tour dates with Oakland's TOTIMOSHI, the Bay Area co-ed trio whose newest album "Milagrosa", produced by HELMET's Page Hamilton and recorded by Toshi Kasai (BIG BUSINESS, MELVINS),will be released physically throughout Europe on February 2 and digitally on January 20 via Volcom Entertainment.

Founded in 1989 by Page Hamilton, HELMET continues to tour the world and influence and inspire generations. Recording four albums over a nine-year period, including 1992's groundbreaking gold album "Meantime" and 1994's critically acclaimed "Betty", HELMET is currently writing an album for release in 2009.

Supporting act TOTIMOSHI, the gritty and raw Bay Area band, have pointed to their Latin heritage as playing a key role in the shaping of their sound; turning the two disparate parts of the band's personality into music that is undeniably their own and a flavor that's unique in the world of modern heavy music.
