August 27, 2015

PureGrainAudio spoke to Chad Gray, lead singer of HELLYEAH and MUDVAYNE, on July 15 at the Toronto, Ontario, Canada stop of this year's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival for episode 8 of "Tales Of Touring Terror".

Gray is no stranger to travel. He's fronted bands that have played the world over dozens of times and as such he's amassed his share of crazy touring tales. Check out what he has to say in the clip below.

HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott recently revealed that the band will enter the studio in October with "Blood For Blood" producer Kevin Churko to begin recording its new album for an early 2016 release.

"Blood For Blood", was the band's first release since parting ways with guitarist Greg Tribbett and bassist Bob "Zilla" Kahaha in 2013.

The new members of HELLYEAH are bassist Kyle Sanders and guitarist Christian Brady.

"Blood For Blood" sold around 17,000 copies in its first week of release to land at No. 18 on the Billboard chart.
