April 23, 2007

HELLYEAH has posted photos from its CD-release party, which took place April 10 at The Clubhouse in Dallas, Texas. Check out the pictures at this location.

HELLYEAH will launch the "Fire It Up" tour on May 20 in Baltimore before heading over to Australia and making its way to England for an appearance at this year's Download festival. The band also hit the road on this summer's Family Values Tour. Also taking part in the trek are EVANESCENCE, ATREYU, TRIVIUM and FLYLEAF, alongside headliners KORN.

HELLYEAH's self-titled debut album sold just under 45,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart.

A three-minute clip featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of HELLYEAH's "You Wouldn't Know" video has been posted at YouTube. The clip was shot on February 25, 2007 with director Nathan Cox in the parking lot of the Dallas, Texas stripclub owned by Vinnie Paul Abbott. The finished "You Wouldn't Know" video is available for viewing at this location.

HELLYEAH last week announced the departure of bassist Jerry Montano (NOTHINGFACE, DANZIG). His replacement will be announced shortly.
