HELL WITHIN Announces New Drummer

October 26, 2006

HELL WITHIN has announced the addition of drummer Derek Jay (ex-TRAUMA CONCEPT) to the group's ranks.

"We would like to thank all of the drummers that auditioned," the band writes in a statement. "We saw a lot of talented people and it was great to meet you all. We are very confident that Derek will do an amazing job of filling this position and recording the new HELL WITHIN album due out early next year.

"Bubba will be performing his last show with HELL WITHIN on Oct. 28 at the Saint and Sinners Fest in NJ. So come out and see us tear it up with Bubba one last time before Derek takes over."

HELL WITHIN's debut album, "Asylum of the Human Predator", was released in April 2005 via Lifeforce Records.

Formerly known as TWYTCH, the Massachusetts-based group released a self-titled debut album in 2001 (under their previous moniker),followed by the "Hatred" EP in 2003, before changing their name to HELL WITHIN and switching to a more brutal and technical direction.
