HELHEIM, VULTURE INDUSTRIES, SYRACH To Perform At KARMØYGEDDON ARCTIC VOL: II

October 5, 2007

HELHEIM, VULTURE INDUSTRIES, SYRACH and EVIG NATT have been confirmed for the Karmøygeddon Arctic Vol: II festival, set to take place October 20 at Byscenen in Haugesund, Norway.

HELHEIM recently posted a demo version of a new track, entitled "Northern Forces", at this location.

Commented the Norwegian black/viking metallers in a statement: "We've decided, as already mentioned, to put out some pre-production material to shorten the wait for a new album. Some months ago we did some simple studio recordings to test out some of the new material. This is the way we will work from now on, all songs will be pre-recorded before the doing the actual recordings, this way we are able to check how the songs actual work after having listened to it 10-20 times. One of the songs, 'Northern Forces', has passed through the eye of the needle and will be re-recorded and included on our next album. All you hear is mostly done in single takes (we only had a very short and restricted time in studio this time...),so don't judge us to hard."

HELHEIM's fifth album, "The Journeys and Experiences of Death", was released in June 2006 via Dark Essence Records. The CD features guest appearances by ROOT vocalist Jiri Valter (a.k.a. Big Boss) on two songs and Marius Lynghjem from the Norwegian experimentalists CORVINE.

"The Journeys and Experiences of Death" was released as a double digipack featuring the unreleased "Helsviti" EP from 2001.
