October 3, 2008

Norway's HELHEIM and VULTURE INDUSTRIES, bands that between them feature current and former members of BLACK HOLE GENERATOR, SULPHUR, ENSLAVED, DEATHCON, SYRACH, MALICE IN WONDERLAND and TAAKE, will once again hit the road together, this time for a tour of Northern Europe. Joining them will be ATROX, for whom this will be the first European tour. Confirmed dates for the trek, dubbed the Vikings, Villains and Vultures Tour, are as follows:

Nov. 07 - Pepes Musik Kneipe, Aalen, Germany
Nov. 08 - Festung, Bitterfeld, Germany (w/ NEGURA BUNGET)

Nov. 12 - [to be announced], Poland
Nov. 13 - Headbangers Ballroom, Hamburg, Germany
Nov. 14 - Helvete, Oberhausen, Germany
Nov. 15 - Azijnfabriek, Roermond, Netherlands

This will not be the first time that Viking metallers HELHEIM join forces with avant-garde metallers, and Dark Essence Records stable mates, VULTURE INDUSTRIES to tour. Commented HELHEIM frontman and bass player V'gandr, "We have all known each other for far too long, and the last couple of tours we did together was fun to do, to put it mildly. It helps to know who you are dealing with — there's nothing worse than touring with someone you don't get on with, and we can always be sure that there will be plenty of laughs and beer flowing on the way with the VULTURE INDUSTRIES guys."

HELHEIM recently caused a sensation in Norway when it launched its "Kaoskult" album in front of an audience of young children in a kindergarten.

The video below is fan-filmed footage of HELHEIM performing "Stones To The Burden" live at the Garage, Bergen.
