HECATE ENTHRONED: South American Tour 'On Hold'

November 17, 2009

U.K. black metallers HECATE ENTHRONED have issued the following update:

"[The South American] tour [which was supposed to take place in January 2010] is now on hold due to problems with the promoter. They have failed to give us satisfactory conditions and guarantees and have dropped out of talks. These problems were not over money or fees as we were happy to merely tour South America and fees were not an issue. The problems are over basic conditions and the inability to receive definitive confirmations and guarantees.

"We apologize to our amazing fans out there that were expecting us, but this is out of our hands and we could not take this on without the support of a promoter. We will continue to try and rearrange this and find a promoter who will do a good job, for us and our fans."

HECATE ENTHRONED is currently working on its new full-length album for a 2010 release. The group's first CD since 2004's "Redimus" will NOT be issued through Candlelight/Blackend, which handled the band's last release. The group's new label home has not yet been announced.
