HECATE ENTHRONED Issue Statement Regarding Cancelled Tour

February 25, 2002

British black metallers HECATE ENTHRONED have issued the following statement regarding the recent cancellation of the group's European tour with AGATHODAIMON and INFERNAL POETRY:

As you may or may not be aware (most probably not aware),our participation on the tour we were due to do with AGATHODAIMON and INFERNAL POETRY in March has had to be cancelled. This is due to circumstances beyond our control. We received an e-mail from our record label telling us that they would not be supplying tour funds as 'we can't support this particular tour now, we feel it is too unstable and have no faith in it going the course'. As a band, we had talked about the tour a lot, how much it had changed and altered, was it going to fall through, and we decided that we would still go ahead and do the tour. The e-mail we received from our label, less than a week before we were due to depart, came as quite a blow to us. But it is out of our hands. I wish it wasn't....

We would like to apologize to everybody out there who has been concerned with the tour, also the fans....hopefully one day we will be back round....
