HEAVEN AND HELL Drummer: Australian Tour Was 'Fantastic'

August 15, 2007

HEAVEN AND HELL drummer Vinny Appice (ex-BLACK SABBATH, DIO) has posted the following message on his web site:

"Well, we finished the last gig of the Australian tour and it was fantastic! The fans are incredible, making us feel at home and welcomed. The band has not played Australia since 1980 so it was great coming back. We are off to New Zealand today for our last show of the 'Down Under' tour in Auckland. We were really happy to have DOWN with us for this part of the tour; these guys kick ass every night!"

HEAVEN AND HELL members Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice will sign copies of their new DVD and CD, "Live from Radio City Music Hall", at Hot Topic in Hollywood, California on Tuesday, August 28 at 6:00 p.m.

HEAVEN AND HELL's "Live From Radio City Music Hall" is the 2007 reunion of the Dio-era BLACK SABBATH lineup of Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice captured on DVD at the band's sold out performance on March 30, 2007 in New York City. The DVD will include the entire show shot in breathtaking HD, as well as a tour documentary and other bonus footage.
