HATESPHERE Record Soccer Team Tribute

June 17, 2004

Danish thrashers HATESPHERE recently entered the studio to record a tribute song for their local soccer team, AGF. "The local fan club is making this tribute CD with all kinds of bands and we are happy to be on it," the band write in a statement. "Our song is called 'Hvornår Er Det Søndag Igen?!', and it's a fist-in-the-face[-type track] as usual — only difference is that it's in Danish. It was recorded and produced by our own Jacob at Borsing Recording, and mixed by our buddy Tue at the well-known Antfarm. The AGF tribute CD will be released around August/September."

HATESPHERE's third album, "Ballet of the Brute", was released last week through Italy's Scarlet Records. A North American release through Century Media Records is expected on July 27. The follow-up to 2002's "Bloodred Hatred", "Ballet of the Brute" was recorded at Jailhouse Studios with producer Tommy Hansen (HELLOWEEN, PRETTY MAIDS) and is the band's first full-length release with drummer Anders Gyldenøhr, who replaced Morten Toft Hansen (RAUNCHY) in May 2003.
