HATEFORM Begins 'World Domination' Through Scandinavia And Japan

Finnish death/thrash metallers HATEFORM have issued the following update:

"During a short silence in the HATEFORM camp, big steps have been taken. A distribution deal with Playground Music Scandinavia was recently signed, covering the rest of the Scandinavian territories and the Baltic countries. So 'Dominance' [HATEFORM's debut album] will see daylight outside Finland on the verge of summer. On top of Scandinavia and the Baltic countries, Playground will also take charge of the rest of the European distribution and licencing of 'Dominance', so hopes are high in both camps. On the other side of the globe, Soundholic from Japan also took the bait, and will be pushing the album to stores in Japan during late summer of 2008. The firm that has worked with acts like KRISIUN, SCAR SYMMETRY, DEICIDE and TRIVIUM decided to licence the album, so that the Japanese can also get dominated! On top of all this, the album will also be available on the American market through The End Records, as they demanded a few copies of 'Dominance' to be added to their stock."

According to the band, "'Dominance' sounds like "a brutal kick to the stomach and all of your teeth punched in. Guest stars on the album will include MORS PRINCIPIUM EST growler Ville Viljanen and the former MPE guitarist, Jori Haukio, performing a guitar solo. The album also has several parts recorded by the mystic HC boy choir Sparkles of Hope."

Formed in 2004, HATEFORM consists of longtime musicians and friends, as the trio of Tuomas Vhmaa (drums),Joni Suodenjrvi (bass) and Tomy Laisto (guitar) has played together for over a decade. Petri Nystrm was recruited to handle the vocal duties and Tom Gardiner was brought in as the replacement for the group's original guitarist Ville Vnni (INSOMNIUM). The band previously recorded two demos and received "Demo of the Month" accolades from all major Finnish music publications (Imperiumi, Inferno and Soundi). In addition, it performed dozens of gigs with such acts as DIABLO, PAIN CONFESSOR and MOKOMA.
