HALFORD Guitarist Regrets Cancellation Of THE METAL GODS Tour

May 9, 2003

HALFORD/PAINMUSEUM guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak has posted the following message to his official web site:

"Greetings all. Metal Mike coming at you from the Metal Land. We regret to say that The Metal Gods 2003 tour dates have officially been suspended. We were really having a great time on the tour with our friends in all the bands. My new band PAINMUSEUM has been really kicking some serious ass and I was just feeling like, 'Hey, I can do this thing twice a day.' I know that HALFORD and TESTAMENT management and our new booking agency ICM from Los Angeles will have HALFORD out on the road extremely soon. Dates should be posted in a matter of days at www.robhalford.com. As far as PAINMUSEUM, well the debut record will just have to go thru a proper mixing stage and then we'll give the record to our new record company who will, let's hope, do their best to make this slab of metal a success. One thing is for sure, as with anything around here, I won't sleep until things get done properly. PAINMUSEUM has some great shows and once again our last show in NYC at BB King's touched my heart as we had 100's of fans waiting for the band. I appreciate that, and you make all the day-to-day business nonsense worth it in the end. Thank you for your support."
