HADES To Perform At Germany's BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Festival

May 7, 2010

Reunited '80s/'90s metallers HADES — fresh off their first show in eight years — will perform at this year's Bang Your Head!!! festival on Saturday, July 17 in Balingen, Germany. Also scheduled to appear at the two-day event (July 16-17) are TWISTED SISTER, RATT, ANVIL, NEVERMORE and QUEENSRŸCHE, among many others.

HADES was supposed to perform at the Keep It True festival on April 24 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany but the band's flight was cancelled because of the volcano in Iceland. HADES did perform, as planned, on April 21 in Clifton, New Jersey. Footage from that show can be seen below.
HADES currently consists of Alan Tecchio on vocals, Dan Lorenzo and Scott LePage on guitars, Tom Coombs on drums and Kevin Bolembach (NON-FICTION, INFERNOPHONIC) on bass.

"We felt terrible about missing out on the Keep It True festival," said Lorenzo. "The promoter from Keep It True did find a flight for Alan Tecchio who performed with WATCHTOWER.

"Alan and I got tons of emails from fans who were really bummed HADES didn't play. We felt like we needed to get to Europe somehow this year to play live.

"Blitz (OVERKILL) told me how huge and well run Bang Your Head!!! is, so we're doing it. The only thing that makes me nervous — besides playing infront of 20,000 people — is the fact that Scott LePage will be flying in straight from Dallas, so we won't have a chance to rehearse with him beforehand.

"Scott has his shit together...so we should kick ass."

Professionally filmed video footage of the HADES reunion show on April 21, 2010 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey can be viewed below.

Producer Jay Bones and Viking Digital Films filmed the Dingbatz show that will eventually become HADES' second DVD.

HADES' setlist for the Dingbatz show was as follows:

01. Widow's Mite
02. Leaders
03. King In Exile
04. I Too Eye
05. Exist To Resist
06. The Cross
