HADES To Be Interviewed On WSOU

February 4, 2011

Guitarist Dan Lorenzo of reunited '80s/'90s metallers HADES will take part in a live in-studio interview on Wednesday, February 9 at 5:00 p.m. EST on 89.5 FM WSOU Seton Hall's Pirate Radio with DJ Omar Ahmad. Joining Dan in the studio will be former NON-FICTION bassist Kevin Bolembach, who will perform with HADES at the band's only currently scheduled show — on Saturday, March 26 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey.

The interview can be heard in the New York City metro area on 89.5 FM or online at www.wsou.net.

HADES's lineup for the Dingbatz concert will be the same as that that performed at last year's Bang Your Head!!! festival on July 17 in Balingen, Germany — Alan Tecchio on vocals, Dan Lorenzo and Scott LePage on guitar, Tom Coombs on drums, and Kevin Bolembach (NON-FICTION) on bass. Support at the gig will come from PISTON DRIVEN and MAGUS BEAST. HADES will be joined on stage by former MANOWAR guitarist Ross "The Boss" Friedman to perform a song off the first MANOWAR LP.

Commented Tecchio: "This show is gonna be extra special thanks to the appearance of Ross The Boss! I cannot wait to jam with him and can only hope that I give the great Eric Adams the respect he deserves when we cover one of their early songs. This particular gig will have a wider range of HADES songs than the last time we played so that will make it different and unique as well."

Added Lorenzo, "We don't get a chance to jam together much before these shows with Scott (LePage) living in Dallas. When we played the Bang Your Head!!! festival, we only did songs from our first two CDs. This time we are going to be mixing in a few songs from the Metal Blade years plus an AC/DC cover in addition to the song with Ross."

Professionally filmed video footage of the HADES reunion show on April 21, 2010 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey can be viewed below.

Producer Jay Bones and Viking Digital Films filmed the Dingbatz show for what will eventually become HADES' second DVD.
