HADES Site Going Down; Free MP3s Added For Download

Former HADES guitarist Dan Lorenzo has issued the following update:

"As you may or may not know HADES stopped playing live shows four years ago, and we only got together to record one new song, 'Thinktank', for a reissue a year and a half ago.....Time to close one chapter and start another... www.Hadesusa.com will disappear in a couple days. I had our webmaster add a whole bunch of HADES MP3s you can download free if you want. There are songs from every CD we released. I'm currently talking to several German labels that may release a HADES DVD of a show in Boston from the end of 1988 when we were at our peak before we broke up the first time."

As BLABBERMOUTH.NET reported on August 21, Lorenzo has joined forces with OVERKILL frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth in a new band called THE CURSED. The group, whose lineup is completed by drummer Mike Cristi and bassist Job The Raver, is reportedly working on its debut album for Screaming Ferret Wreckords. More information will be made available soon.
