In 1997, one of the smaller stages at the Ilosaarirock festival in Joensuu, Finland was conquered by a promising new band whose frontman was said to have a fantastic voice. Now, ten years later, led by their charismatic singer Ville Valo, they have released five impeccable albums that have sold more than four million copies worldwide. This year, the fabulous H.I.M. makes its long-awaited return to Ilosaarirock! This gig will be H.I.M.'s only rock festival gig in Europe this summer.
