Northeast Ohio metal band H.A.T.E. has been confirmed for this year's edition of the Headbangers Open Air festival, set to take place July 28-30, 2011 in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany.
"The H.A.T.E. machine is totally keyed up to be invited to play this year's Headbangers Open Air festival in Germany," says H.A.T.E. vocalist/guitarist Greg Wagner. "I played the festival with BREAKER in 2004 and was blown away by the dedicated, die-hard metal fans that know their metal well. We’re humbled to be on the bill and can’t wait to board the big bird in July!"
H.A.T.E.'s new album, "Inject The Infection", will be released in April via Auburn Records. The CD was produced by guitarist Curran Murphy (SHATTER MESSIAH, NEVERMORE, ANNIHILATOR) and recorded at his Smiley Sound Studios in Akron, Ohio.
"The Headbangers Open Air 2011 bill is now complete," says festival co-organizer Thomas Tegelhütter. "The last confirmed band is H.A.T.E. featuring BREAKER vocalist Greg Wagner, from the USA and Bill Peters' Auburn Records label. A big thanks to all who support us! We'll see ya all again from July 28 to July 30 in 2011. Make this garden burn!!!"
Tickets are available through Hellion Records (Itzehoe), Ticketmaster, Metaltix, Von Gestern (Elmshorn), Remedy Records (Hamburg) and the Headbangers Open Air festival web site.
