GWAR: Monthly Fanzine Relaunched

December 16, 2006

Mind Control Monthly, the GWAR fanzine, has been resurrected by the people behind BohabCentral.com, and will launch with its first issue on January 10, 2007. A subscription will be required in order to receive the issue. However, to commemorate the re-birth of the Mind Control Monthly, a special "pre-issue #0" has just been released for free to all registered bohabs at BohabCentral.com. Check out the Mind Control Monthly section for details at this location.

Mind Control Monthly was a monthly rag started by Hunter Jackson (Techno Destructo) in June of 1990 and sent out to all GWAR fans who subscribed. The Mind Control Monthly issues consisted of about eight sheets of photocopied paper stapled together and they contained articles, features, interviews from other print media along with tidbits thrown in by GWAR.

The new Mind Control Monthly will be a full-out 16-page "mini-mag" done in PDF format. The new MCMs will feature interviews from past and present members, articles, features, reviews, and a "shitload" of monthly features submitted by bohabs.
