GWAR Frontman Set For Ninth Appearance On FOX NEWS' 'Red Eye'

February 24, 2010

GWAR frontman Oderus Urungus will make his ninth appearance on Fox News' "Red Eye" show with host Greg Gutfeld this Thursday night, February 25.

Said Oderus, "It's no secret that 'Red Eye' is kicking ass. Everywhere, including China, is tuning in, and it's not just because of Greg Gutfeld's shapely buttocks. It's because of me, because I am so great."

"Red Eye" is a late-night/early-morning talk show on the Fox News channel. Airing at 3:00 a.m. EST on weekdays with repeats on weekends at 12:00 a.m. EST, the show covers a variety of topics, including news, entertainment, sports, and gossip. It is hosted by former Maxim U.K. editor Greg Gutfeld.

As previously reported, GWAR has been confirmed for the 2010 edition of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, set to take place June 10-13 in Manchester, Tennessee.

"America Must Be Destroyed", GWAR's 1992 opus, can now be purchased in a special edition digipak that's also crammed with a DVD that includes the seminal GWAR films "Tour De Scum" and "Phallus In Wonderland".

"Let Us Slay", the new video from GWAR, was shot in Richmond, Virginia by director David Brodsky (SUICIDE SILENCE, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL) and his MyGoodEye crew.

GWAR's latest album, "Lust In Space", sold around 5,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 96 on The Billboard 200 chart.
