GWAR: 'Blood Bath And Beyond' DVD Due This Month

DRT Entertainment recording artist GWAR will be releasing the ultimate GWAR DVD, titled "Blood Bath and Beyond", on June 20. Hosted by Oderus Urungus and Sleazy P. Martini, the DVD contains over 90 minutes of rare and unreleased footage as well as mini movies, lost demo recordings and rare bootleg footage amassed over GWAR's 20 year career since landing on earth though their current world domination. Also, for the first time in the history of GWAR, the band has recorded a cover song. GWAR pays homage to the original master of shock rock, with a bone-crushing version of his most famous song — that's right, GWAR has covered ALICE COOPER's "School's Out". The band's take on the famous summer anthem is available for download now at "School's Out" will also be the first single on the band's upcoming, full-length studio release, "Beyond Hell", due out in late summer. Both the single and the album were produced by Devin Townsend of STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and Cory Smoot.

And if that isn't enough GWAR for you, the band will be tearing it up again on this year's Sounds of the Underground tour beginning July 8 in Cleveland, OH.
