GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist FORTUS Working On SPIDERMAN 3 Video Game Soundtrack

February 26, 2007

GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Richard Fortus told GN'R fan site Gnrsource.com that he's been keeping busy with several projects in recent months, including writing the soundtrack to the new Spiderman 3 video game. He's also been writing and recording with PUDDLE OF MUDD for their new record. In addition, Fortus played on a record by a new artist on Def Jam called KERLI and has written music for various commercials, including those by Apple and Red Bull. Richard also hopes to work with CRYSTAL METHOD for their next record.

Longtime GUNS N' ROSES associate Del James has revealed in a new online posting that "Chinese Democracy" is currently in the "mixing" stage.

"Chinese Democracy" is the first GUNS N' ROSES album since the 1993 covers collection "The Spaghetti Incident". In the ensuing decade, the group has lost every original member besides singer Axl Rose and burned through a reported $13 million in recording expenses.
