GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist DJ ASHBA: 'I Would Take A Bullet' For AXL ROSE

June 1, 2012

In a brand new interview with Celebzter, GUNS N' ROSES guitarist DJ Ashba was asked what GN'R lead singer Axl Rose is really like. "He's a f'n prick! Nah, I'm only joking!" Ashba replied. "He's actually very misunderstood by the media and people who don't know him. People like to assume shit. Now, granted, I can only speak for me, but truth is he is one of the funniest and coolest motherfuckers out there. I would take a bullet for him."

Ashba recently teamed up with BullyVille.com, the Internet's first anti-bullying social web site and media platform. The guitarist used BullyVille.com himself to reveal his struggles coping with being bullied as a child by his own father.

Ashba joined GUNS N' ROSES in March 2009 following the departure of Robin Finck.

In addition to Ashba and sole original member Axl Rose, the current lineup of GUNS N' ROSES includes guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer.
