Guitarist 'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK Issues New SEBASTIAN BACH Recording Update

July 10, 2006

Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach has commenced the recording sessions for his new solo album, "Angel Down", at a Los Angeles studio with producer Roy Z. (JUDAS PRIEST, HALFORD, BRUCE DICKINSON, HELLOWEEN). His guitarist, "Metal" Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM),has issued the following update on the recording process:

"Thursday, July 6th was out next-to-last day at the studio. The day began with Bobby [Jarzombek, drums] and I shooting footage for John Ferrante/Ferrante Power Equipment. John is a rep for many of the companies that Bobby and I endorse. Bobby did some impromptu solos showcasing a line of Evans heads he's been using while I did a sesssion in the control room also doing a bunch of improvised rhythms and so on. I also checked out the new Planet Waves floor tuner pedal that I liked and several other things that John brought over for me to check out. I believe much of the footage will be used on D'Addario's own 'D'Addario TV' website feature, coming soon.

"Remainder of Thursday and Friday, out last 2 days in the studio, was spent doing additional guitars and vocals. Baz came in Friday afternoon and knocked out 3 more songs. Sounded great. Later in the day, I did more rhythms for 'Stuck Inside', a song we have been playing live for some time. Very hooky chorus and good riffs. Then, last minute overdubs to a bunch of stuff, some good Mexican beer and tequila shots while our equipment was being broken down in the recording room.

"We have been in pre-production/recording in Los Angeles for three weeks with no days off. But with determination and some team work another day is done and another solid record on the way for you all.

"I had to catch the plane next morning in order to return home to the good old New Jersey to decompress. Weeks of touring and working on my studio tan is great, but there's nothing like being home even if it's for four days before resuming our touring.

"As a band we are looking forward to hooking up with GUNS N' ROSES again, [and] going to Japan to share the stage with KISS, ALICE IN CHAINS. Our first show of the run is in Bulgaria at Rock In Kavarna Festival. Bulgaria is wild and we had a killer time when HALFORD and SLAYER did a show there in 2003."

Bach's current touring/recording lineup consists of the following:

Sebastian Bach - Vocals
Metal" Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM) - Guitar
Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS, ex-DEATH, TESTAMENT) - Bass
Bobby Jarzombek (ICED EARTH, HALFORD) - Drums
Johnny Chromatic – Guitar

Bach has been confirmed for the Udo Music Festival 2006, set to take place July 22-23 at Fuji Speedway in Mt. Fuji, Japan. Also scheduled to appear are KISS, ALICE IN CHAINS, PUSSYCAT DOLLS, STEVE VAI, GODSMACK, TAYLOR HAWKINS & THE COATTAIL RIDERS, TRIBE OF GYPSIES, PORCUPINE TREE, SOFT, MORNINGWOOD, and THE CLICK FIVE, among others.

Bach's band will resume touring Europe with GUNS N' ROSES mid-July.
