GUILLOTINE Preparing To Enter Studio

GUILLOTINE — the reunited Swedish thrash metal band featuring Nils Eriksson (bass) and Fredrik Mannberg (rhythm guitar) of NOCTURNAL RITES — has announced the following dates:

Oct. 09 - Gävle, SWE - [to be announced]
Oct. 11 - Karlstad, SWE @ Nöjesfabriken

GUILLOTINE is scheduled to enter the studio before the end of the year to begin recording its third album for an early 2010 release.

"Blood Money", the second album from GUILLOTINE, was released on October 27, 2008 via Pulverised Records. The CD's artwork was created by Ed Repka, who has previously worked with MEGADETH, VENOM, DEATH and POSSESSED, among many others.

The band's debut LP, "Under the Guillotine", came out in 1997.
