GUANO APES: Digipak Version Of New Single To Include Two Previously Unreleased Tracks

November 13, 2004

GUANO APES' brand new single, "Break the Line" (video) will be released on Monday, November 15 in two different versions — a standard three-track version and as a limited-edition five-track digipak featuring two previously unreleased tracks, "Stay" and "Underwear".

Commented guitarist Henning Rümenapp: "We got together at the beginning of the year thinking about what we wanted to offer our fans. New songs, what else: that was the unanimous answer to this question. It was clear to us that we wanted to compose, arrange and record new bonus tracks in addition to a smashing single that is typical of the APES. And so we went to the studio and worked on the songs. I think the result is something to be proud of."

The work was done in three different studios in order to achieve the best results possible. "Well, there's studio X which is well-known for the best recordings whereas studio Y is the right place for the mix," explained drummer Dennis Poschwatta. "In the end, the new songs should be good APES songs!"
