April 25, 2005

GREEN CARNATION, the Norwegian band featuring Tchort (a.k.a. Terje Vik Schei, BLOOD RED THRONE, ex-EMPEROR, SATYRICON, EINHERJER),are inviting fans to listen to the pre-production recordings for their 2001 album, "Light of Day, Day of Darkness".

By logging on to www.purevolume.com/greencarnation and clicking on "Light of Day Preproduction", it will — for the first time — be possible to hear some of Tchort's original ideas behind the 60-minute epic.

On PureVolume.com you can also hear some of the most straightforward and groovy songs from GREEN CARNATION's latest album, "The Quiet Offspring", available now on The End Records.

"The Quiet Offspring" was recorded at Sound Suite studio in Marseille, France and was produced by Terje Refsnes. The cover artwork was created by Niklas Sundin of Cabin Fever Media (IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, DARK TRANQUILLITY).

GREEN CARNATION recently parted ways with drummer Anders Kobro and replaced him with Tommy Jackson, a longtime fan and friend of the band.
