GREEN CARNATION Confirmed For France's RAISMESFEST

Norway's prog-metal masters GREEN CARNATION have been confirmed for the Raismesfest 2006, set to take place September 9-10 in Raismes, France. Also scheduled to appear are FREAK KITCHEN, ADAGIO, ANDROMEDA and WATCHA.

Commented GREEN CARNATION drummer Tommy Jackson in a statement: "We have been waiting a long time to play in France, and we're delighted to be invited to the festival. It will be a great start to what promises to be a good tour for the band."

As previously reported, GREEN CARNATION have been added to European Harvest Festival tour, set to take place in September. This will be GREEN CARNATION's first European tour since 2003. Also appearing on the bill are headliners TRISTANIA, plus additional support acts MORGANA LEFAY, DERANGED, MACHINE MEN and one more as-yet-unannounced band.

GREEN CARNATION's "Acoustic Verses" album was released in North America in January via The End Records.
