GRAVITY KILLS Keyboardist Injures Hand, Group Cancels Dates

May 9, 2002

GRAVITY KILLS suffered a minor setback last weekend as keyboard player Doug Firley sustained serious injury to his hand in Allentown, Pennsylvania while performing in front of a sold-out crowd. The injury occurred when Firley dropped the custom-made, springloaded keyboard on his hand during the band's single, "One Thing". GRAVITY KILLS were touring to support their Sanctuary Records debut Superstarved.

The band immediately returned home to St. Louis for Doug to seek treatment, thus ending the current cycle of tour dates. GRAVITY KILLS plans on returning to the road on May 19th for a WAAF performance and are already confirmed for the Locobazooka tour (alongside FILTER, SEVENDUST, NONPOINT, AUDIOVENT, and MUSHROOMHEAD, among others),which will see them through the summer.
