GRAVEYARD RODEO Reunion Confirmed

November 3, 2004

Drummer Wayne "Doobie" Fabra of legendary Lousiana hardcore/metal pioneers GRAVEYARD RODEO has confirmed to NolaUnderground.com that the band have reformed and are currently rehearsing with a view towards playing a few reunion shows in the New Orleans area (as first reported here on Oct. 18). The current lineup of the group includes Fabra, Tommy Scanlan on bass and Perry McAuley on vocals, all of whom appeared on the band's classic 1993 debut, "Sowing Discord In the Haunts of Man".

Although GRAVEYARD RODEO broke up shortly after a European tour in support of "Sowing Discord In the Haunts of Man", founding member Scanlan eventually recruited a mostly new lineup for the "On the Verge" album (1994),and the band retired for good soon afterwards. Vocalist Mark Brignac, who appeared on "On the Verge", has since joined forces with Kirk Windstein (DOWN, CROWBAR) and Sid Montz (ex-CROWBAR) in VALUME NOB.
