GODSMACK Side Project Touring With ALTER BRIDGE

September 4, 2007

The Pulse of Radio (formerly Launch Radio Networks) reports: ANOTHER ANIMAL, the band featuring GODSMACK members Tony Rombola on guitar, Robbie Merrill on bass and Shannon Larkin on drums, will hit the road with labelmates ALTER BRIDGE. The previously announced dates begin on October 2 in Tallahassee, Florida, with shows confirmed so far through October 21 in Philadelphia. ANOTHER ANIMAL will be touring to promote its self-titled debut disc, which was scheduled to arrive on October 2 but may be delayed.

A first single from the album, called "Broken Again", has already surfaced. The group also includes former UGLY KID JOE vocalist Whitfield Crane.

ALTER BRIDGE, which features three former members of CREED, issues its second effort, titled "Blackbird", on October 9.

GODSMACK will celebrate its 10th anniversary later this year with a greatest-hits collection and possibly some acoustic shows, after which the quartet plans to go on an extended hiatus.
