GOD FORBID Cover GUNS N' ROSES For Upcoming Tribute CD

June 3, 2003

New Jersey's GOD FORBID have just finished recording a blistering rendition of the GUNS N' ROSES classic "Out Ta Get Me" with producer Chris Pearce. The track will be included on the upcoming tribute disc through Law of Inertia Records that features some of today's best metal/hardcore acts including DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, UNEARTH, EVERYTIME I DIE, HASTE and NORA, among others. Expect an early fall release.

GOD FORBID, who just delivered an earth-shattering performance at the Obey The Flame festival in Montreal, Canada, will enter Trax East Studios in July with producer Eric Rachel (ATREYU, NORA) to record their eagerly anticipated new full-length album. The follow-up to the critically acclaimed "Determination" is set to be mixed by Colin Richardson (SEPULTURA, CARCASS) in August.

The as-yet-untitled album is slated for an early 2004 release and plans are also being solidified for a full U.S. tour in late summer. Other acts, dates and clubs will be announced in the coming weeks.
