GOD AMONG INSECTS, THE PROJECT HATE Split With THREEMAN RECORDINGS

November 23, 2005

Swedish extreme metal bands GOD AMONG INSECTS and THE PROJECT HATE, both of which feature guitarist Lord K (a.k.a. Kenth Philipson),have announced their split with the Threeman Recordings label. In virtually identical statements posted on the bands' respective web sites, they wrote, "Last week we told Threeman that [GOD AMONG INSECTS and THE PROJECT HATE] want out of the contract due to a lot of reasons. Label man [Alex Hellid, who is also ENTOMBED's guitarist] called me while K was in Holland and said that they were cool with it. Now we are just waiting for the official papers to make this go through. Hopefully they will come faster than the three years it took to get the contract.

"Why are we doing this?

"Because none of us are chuffed with how everything's being dealt with. [GOD AMONG INSECTS will] also pay back the money that they paid for the recording of 'Zombienomicon' and look for another label to release it.

"We thank Threeman for what they have done and wish them luck with any eventual new signings and whatnot. Hopefully they will have better finances and possibilities to take care of their future bands a bit better. We wish them nothing but the best."
