GLEN ALVELAIS' LD/50 Releases Teaser Sampler

June 2, 2009

LD/50, the new project led by Glen Alvelais (FORBIDDEN, TESTAMENT, TENET),has uploaded a teaser sampler on the band's MySpace page.

LD/50 is:

Glen Alvelais (FORBIDDEN, TESTAMENT, TENET) - Guitar
Clark Brown (GEEZER) - Vocals
Jeremy Colson (STEVE VAI, MARTY FRIEDMAN) - Drums

Commented Glen: "Right now I am in the process of doing the final tracking for LD/50's brand new music. We have recorded three new songs that I'm excited to let people listen too. Also, I have two more solos to finish out of the eight solos I am doing for the new DEFIANCE CD. These guys have managed to bring back that old-school thrash that we as Bay Area people are proud of; it's gonna be sick!! And I dont mean in a swine kind of way.

"As soon as I'm done with the DEFIANCE solos, I will be moving on to do a guest solo for the band called SEVEN KINGDOMS out of Florida. Camden is a fellow Bernie Rico guitar player. Looking forward to this as well.

"And last but not least, I have managed to make time to start another band with Mike Roberts (SKINLAB),Chris Kontos (MACHINE HEAD),Steev Esquivel (SKINLAB, DEFIANCE),Frankie Hadden (DAMAGE, BIZARRO). We have some really good ideas flowing already and I think this band is will be HEAVY!!"
