GIDEON Signs With STRIKE FIRST RECORDS

October 22, 2010

Strike First Records has announced the signing of the Tuscaloosa, Alabama-based "aggressive, melodic hardcore" band GIDEON.

Well-placed gang vocals and a powerful frontman set GIDEON apart from many of their peers, while the band as a whole, whose members have been playing together only since 2008, come off sounding like seasoned pros.

GIDEON has self-released two EPs since 2008 with the help of Brian Hood at 456 Recordings, and has been committed to playing as many shows as possible, turning to full-time touring after all members of the band had graduated from high school. Now they're preparing to recording their debut for Strike First Records with Brian Hood this winter. Look for the new full-length CD to be out in February 2011.
