GEORGIAN SKULL: 'Hunting The Ghost' Video Available

"Hunting The Ghost", the new video from the Canadian stoner, doom and groove band GEORGIAN SKULL — which features in its ranks singer/guitarist Al "The Yeti" Bones (also frontman for USA's sludge kings THE MIGHTY NIMBUS and Canadian stoner band MISTER BONES) — can be viewed below. The song comes off the group's debut album, "Mother Armageddon, Healing Apocalypse", which will be released in the fall via Italy's Scarlet Records. The artwork was designed by Vince Locke (CANNIBAL CORPSE).

Commented Al "The Yeti" Bones: "The new record will blow the fuckin' doors wide open on who we are and what we're doing musically at this moment in time. It is more than just a vibe. It's our lives. We put our heart and souls in this record and it aint nothing to be fucked with... This is the real deal."

According to a press release, GEORGIAN SKULL draws inspiration from 1970s hard rock and heavy metal — BLACK SABBATH, LED ZEPPELIN and THIN LIZZY — fused with heavier acts such as DOWN, CLUTCH, PANTERA, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY and ENTOMBED. They have shared the stage with such groups as ANVIL, CRYPTOPSY, TODAY IS THE DAY, GOATWHORE, TROUBLE, SONS OF OTIS, and many, many more.

The band is scheduled to play Toronto's famed Opera House tonight (Friday, August 8) for a showcase gig.
