GEORGE LYNCH Featured On 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'

December 9, 2005

Bassist Marten Andersson (GEORGE LYNCH, STARWOOD, LIZZY BORDEN) has issued the following update:

"I don't know if you caught the George Lynch rehearsal skit with announcer 'Stuttering John' (Melendez) that aired last night [Dec. 8] on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' on NBC. I think they mainly featured Lynch and Andrew but I don't know for sure since I haven't seen it. It was cool to see that Stuttering John is a big fan of hard rock, he seamed pretty blown away meeting everybody especially George and Vinny (Appice). (Everybody ended up staying around for 45 minutes just hanging when we were done taping, even the producers and staff). I hear NBC might be re-airing it next Friday morning at 2:35 a.m. but I am not 100% [sure].

"The Lynch tour is coming along just fine. Of course, there is the regular tour snags that always happens (our bus breaking down in the Chicago snowstorm etc.).

"We are off to Milwaukee today. A couple of more days in the show then we are working our way back home (to the warmer part of the country!!).

"It has been great seeing a bunch of friends I haven't seen in a long time, thanks for coming out!! Chris Roseberry (my singer in LEGACY) and his wife Lolou came out and hung out with me the other nite in Columbus. I haven't seen him in a while since he relocated to Pittsburgh, good hanging with you again bro. I hope life is treating you good out there."
