Northern Ontario's GATES OF WINTER has issued the following update:

"We recently finished our debut album [entitled 'Lux Aeterna'] and it is currently getting pressed right now. Many fans of ours have waited, and waited, for this album, so instead of prolonging the wait, we simply torrented our tunes for them to hear. We're offering our entire disc at max quality and leaving this one up to metal fans to decide if they like it — they can buy it. If not — no harm done! Our style on this album is symphonic metal with some prog elements."
