GAMMA RAY Confirmed For Spain's TORRES ROCK and Sweden GATES OF METAL Festivals

February 22, 2003

German power metallers GAMMA RAY have been confirmed for Spain's Torres Rock Festival and Sweden's Gates Of Metal Festival. The show at Gates Of Metal Festival will see the group churning out one more exclusive performance of the "Skeletons In The Closet" set.

Confirmed dates are as follows:

May 24 - Torres-Jean, ESP @ Torres Rock (Escuela Muncipal)
Aug. 02 – Hultsfred, SWE @ Gates Of Metal

In other news, the much-anticipated book written by Mark Brauneis which the concept for GAMMA RAY's "No World Order" album is partly based upon, is finally out now. At the moment, there is only a German version available but according to Mark, negotiations are underway and it looks good that an English version will be released in the not-too-distant future.

"Sieben – Die wahre Weltordnung" (English translation.: "Seven - The True World Order") was released through Germany's Extrem-Verlag and is distributed through Andromedar-Vertrieb from Nürnberg, Germany. The book has over 260 pages and costs €17.90. It is understood that the book will be available through the big online stores such as Amazon, very soon. In the meantime, you can either contact Extrem-Verlag or simply ask your local bookstore (tell them to look for ISBN No. 3-935054-31-9). If you live in Germany, look for reviews of the book in the upcoming issues of Metal Hammer and Metal Heart magazines.
