FULL DEVIL JACKET Split With Singer, Consider Name Change

February 4, 2002

FULL DEVIL JACKET have parted ways with vocalist Josh Brown due to his “religious beliefs” and are in the process of changing their name in addition to auditioning potential singers before starting work on their second full-length CD (the band's first under the new moniker). Here is a statement from bassist Kevin Bebout on the matter:

“Well, all this rumor milling and sh.t-talking has finally made me come and post. here is the skinny folks...........

Josh has left the band due to his religous beliefs, he told us that unless the band was Christian and saved that he could not continue. Since then he has been almost impossible to contact by us or management. No one has turned their backs on Josh or talked him down. He has his own beliefs and is welcome to them. The rest of us already have the new material written and recorded. I seriously doubt we will have the name FULL DEVIL JACKET much longer or this web board. We have already tried out singers and have one we are laying vocal tracks with in the next week. This band is far from over and we are already expecting to be out on tour this fall. Everyone in our camp is still behind the band and things are moving forward. There is no more to really be said about Josh or his leaving other than I hope he is happy and he is probably where he has needed to be for a long time , which is in God's hands.

“So there you have it folks ........no bullsh.tting or anything of the sort. We will post regularly…and let everyone know the new name and an expected due date. I am hoping this will be done real soon where we can see you all on the road soon. So........unless it comes from the horse's mouth ....you know it came from the horse's ass. Kevin
