FULL BLOWN CHAOS: 'Halos For Heroes' Video Posted Online

January 14, 2008

FULL BLOWN CHAOS' video for the song "Halos for Heroes" can be viewed below. The track was selected by fans via the FULL BLOWN CHAOS/Metal Injection Viewers' Choice poll.

The band is super-excited about the viewers' choice, but it was a close race, according to vocalist Ray Mazzola. "It was pretty neck and neck until the end, but 'Halos' conquered," he said. "We're psyched about the premiere, since it's an interesting storyline that really works with the theme of the lyrics. It's all about the mob, very influenced by 'Casino', 'Goodfellas', 'The Godfather', etc, and about standing up for your honor. Who the honorable, good person is in the video is left up to viewer interpretation, because it's all pretty twisted and mysterious, but if you know the lyrics, you'll get it."

"Halos for Heroes" is the first video off FULL BLOWN CHAOS' recently released Ferret Music debut, "Heavy Lies the Crown", which the band has been promoting virtually non-stop for the past few months. They started in September with OBITUARY, and went right to Europe the day after that tour ended with to headline a run with FIRST BLOOD and SINCE THE FLOOD. They went out again through December with TONY DANZA TAP DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA, THE ACACIA STRAIN and DESPISED ICON.
