FU MANCHU Tape SIRIUS Special

October 15, 2004

FU MANCHU guitarist Bob Balch and drummer Scott Reeder taped an hour-long special on Sirius Satellite Radio that will air on October 20. The show is called "Contact High" with Bobby Black and will feature tunes from the group's latest CD, "Start the Machine", as well as music picked by the guys.

FU MANCHU will be kicking off a U.S. tour with CLUTCH on November 27 in Grand Rapids, MI. They will be touring in support of "Start the Machine", which sold 1,415 copies in its first week of release last month. The follow-up to 2002's "California Crossing" (Mammoth) was produced by Brian Joseph Dobbs (VOIVOD, MANMADEGOD, DEATH ANGEL) and marks the group's first release for DRT Entertainment, the independent label founded last year by senior music industry executives Derek Shulman, Ron Urban and Ted Green.
