FREDDIE MERCURY Lifetime Achievement Award To Be Presented At VODAFONE LIVE MUSIC AWARDS

According to QUEEN guitarist Brian May's official web site, this year's Vodafone Live Music Awards will see the presentation of the second Freddie Mercury Lifetime Achievement Award, which was won in 2006 by THE WHO. The awards ceremony will take place on September 19 at Brompton Hall, Earls Court, London, and will be televized in the UK on Channel 4 at 11 p.m. the same evening. Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor will not be attending the event.
