FOZZY Re-Sign With Megaforce, Acquire New Bassist

January 15, 2002

Here's a not-to-be-taken-seriously press release from the FOZZY camp (featuring former members of STUCK MOJO and WWF wrestler Chris Jericho):

FOZZY IS EXCITED AND ARROGANT TO ANNOUNCE A NEW SEVEN FIGURE RECORD DEAL WITH MEGAFORCE RECORDS.

"After entertaining many offers from some of the biggest record companies in the world and elsewhere, we decided to re-sign with the best... Megaforce," says influential sex God, Moongoose McQueen. "We are already in preparation for the new record and we are going to accept nothing but perfection. The new line-up is stoked and the guys are really giving me lots of adoration and respect...completely kissing my leather clad rear."

New tracks rumored to be on the disc include:

01. Where Eagles Dare
02. Freewheel Burning
03. Ride The Snake
04. Big City Nights
05. You Can't Stop Rock And Roll
06. The Iron Priest
07. Balls To The Wall
08. L.O.V.E. Machine
09. Happenstance
10. Wolverhampton

The record is slated for a late spring/early summer release. Stay tuned for more details. FOZZY are huge rock stars.

FOZZY GETS A NEW BOTTOM END

FOZZY has announced their new bass player to be Claude "Watty" Watson, formerly of the Hudson Bay Area thrash band ERADICATOR. Watson beat out such competition as Francis Bucholz, Alec Jon Such and Susannah Hoffs to get the revered position.

"Watty had the chops, the looks and the pompousness to be in this band," said guitar legend, Duke Larue. In addition to his new four string duties for FOZZY, Watty is also the new luggage handler, the new laundry technician and the new personal fluffer for Moongoose and the band.
