Former WARRANT Frontman JANI LANE: New Song Posted Online

October 8, 2005

Former WARRANT frontman Jani Lane has posted a new song, entitled "Sinner's Road", at www.myspace.com/janilane.

Commented Lane: "In regards to people asking if there's another version of 'Sinner's Road' ... kind of. There is a 'Jabberwocky' [solo project] DEMO that some people are illeagally selling and passing off as a record. Please dont support this kind of activity! I put this version (my version) out to show that no song is done 'till I'm finished with it. I will put out 'Jabberwocky' properly before the end of the year."

The "Jabberwocky" material was bootlegged from the studio before it was finished and mixed and eventually sold for upwards of $100 on eBay a few years ago. "Sinner's Road" is said to be "not in the same vein" as "Jabberwocky" material, nor Lane's "Back Down to One" solo disc from 2001, which came out on Z Records.

As previously reported, Jani Lane guest-starred in the pilot episode of a TV show for VH1 called "After Work Special". Lane filmed his parts in late September. No further information is currently available.

Jani will be teaming up with former RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy, Don Dokken (DOKKEN),FIREHOUSE (acoustic band jam),and Kip Winger (WINGER) for VH1 Classic's "Metal Mania: Stripped Across America Tour 2005" beginning later in the month. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:
