Former WARRANT Frontman JANI LANE: Another New Song Posted Online

Former WARRANT frontman Jani Lane has posted another tune for his "Jabberwocky" project, entitled "Very Fine Line", at

An acoustic, "bootleg" version of "Very Fine Line" has been circling around from a live, all-acoustic performance back in 1997 in Brazil. This version is said to be "far superior" to the bootleg version.

The "Jabberwocky" material was bootlegged from the studio before it was finished and mixed and was eventually sold for upwards of $100 on eBay a few years ago. Word isn't definite as to the album's official release, but there are talks of making the whole "Jabberwocky" CD available by year's end.

As previously reported, Jani Lane guest-starred in the pilot episode of a TV show for VH1 called "After Work Special". Lane filmed his parts in late September. No further information is currently available.

Jani will be teaming up with former RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy, Don Dokken (DOKKEN), FIREHOUSE (acoustic band jam), and Kip Winger (WINGER) for VH1 Classic's "Metal Mania: Stripped Across America Tour 2005" beginning later in the month. Photos of the performance from October 13 in California for the new Guitar Center and release of "VH1 Classic Metal Mania: Stripped Volume 2: The Anthems" have been posted online at Film Magic.
