Former THE STORYTELLER Members Launch CRYSTAL LIGHT

January 7, 2009

In the spring of 2008, Swedish guitarist/songwriter Marcus Backlund teamed up with guitarist Jacob Wennerqvist (THE STORYTELLER) to write some music in the melodic hard rock and heavy metal vein with roots in the 1980s. A handful of songs were written over the course of a few weeks, and soon L-G Persson (THE STORYTELLER) was recruited to take care of the vocals. The resulting band, dubbed CRYSTAL LIGHT, is in the process of negotiating a possible record deal and putting together a complete lineup.

CRYSTAL LIGHT has made the following demo songs available for download on the band's web site:

* Never Surrender Again
* Dreams Never Die
* The Prophecy
* Into The Light
* Sign Of Tomorrow
* 4 A.M. (Don't Wanna Cry By Myself)
