Former TESTAMENT Guitarist To Guest On DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND Drummer's Solo Album

Drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen (DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND) has confirmed the final guest appearances for his upcoming solo album. The last three guests to be confirmed are Alex Skolnick (ex-TESTAMENT, SAVATAGE),Trevor Dunn (MR. BUNGLE, FANTOMAS) and Mike Young (DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND, 10 WAYS FROM SUNDAY). "I'm very excited about working with these guys and everyone else that is involved with the record," Ryan writes on his web site. The complete list of musicians that will play on the album is as follows:

Jeremy Glen (GOD AWAKENS PETRIFIED) - Vocals
Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) - Lead Guitar
Alex Skolnick (ex-TESTAMENT, SAVATAGE) - Guitar
Christofer Malmström (DARKANE) - Lead Guitar
Dave Young (DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND) - Rhythm Guitars
Michael Manring (ATTENTION DEFECIT) - Bass Guitar
Trevor Dunn (MR. BUNGLE, FANTOMAS) - Bass guitar
Gustaf Hielm (ex-MESHUGGAH) - Bass Guitar
Russell Bergquist (ex-ANNIHILATOR) - Bass Guitar
Mike Young (DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND) - Bass guitar

"As you can see, there is a ton of talent involved in this album and I promise to make this one as interesting as possible," Ryan writes. "I'm aiming to record the album in early Spring 2005. As for now, I will be focusing all my efforts on the new DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND album then NON-HUMAN LEVEL and my solo project (yet to be named)."
