Former SOULFLY Bassist Officially Joins ABLOOM

Jon "Tumor" Fahnestock (ex-SNOT, AMEN, LO-PRO) has officially turned over the bassist position in ABLOOM to Marcello D. Rapp (ex-SOULFLY). "The decision had to be made recently with the departure of the SOULFLY lineup [from mainman Max Cavalera]," Fahnestock writes on his web site. "ABLOOM needed a bass player to be there for them in the past and upcoming months and I am currently on tour and committed to the LO-PRO project. I wish Marcello all the best as he well deserves. I will deeply miss playing with Mikey, Roy, Jason and Levon and hopefully I will play on a track on the upcoming ABLOOM release."

ABLOOM's current lineup consists of Rapp, guitarist Mikey Doling (ex-SOULFLY), drummer Roy Mayorga (ex-SOULFLY, MEDICATION), guitarist Levon Sultanian and vocalist Jason Radford (both of ONESIDEZERO). The group, who are presently unsigned, expect to release their debut album sometime in 2004.
