November 5, 2010

REVERENCE, the new Detroit, Michigan-based power metal band featuring vocalist Todd Michael Hall (JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR, HARLET),guitarist Bryan Holland (TOKYO BLADE, ARREST),drummer Steve "Dr. Killdrums" Wacholz (SAVATAGE, CRIMSON GLORY) and bassist Frank Saparti (TOKYO BLADE, OVERLOADED, MINDCANDY),is working on material for its debut album, to be released next year through Razar Ice Records. The CD will be recorded at Sight 16 Studios (TOKYO BLADE, TWOTHIRTYSEVEN, PARIS BLUE, COLDSNAP) in Albuquerque, New Mexico with producer Sid Garcia.

A press release states: "With the inspiration of other power metal bands like JUDAS PRIEST, HELLOWEEN and PRIMAL FEAR, REVERENCE delivers nothing but power metal screams from vocalist Todd Michael Hall (with his four-octave range),searing metal guitar riffs from Bryan Holland, chest-pounding double-bass drumming from Dr. Killdrums and heavy bass lines from Frank Saparti."

A rough demo version of the song "Vengeance Is Mine" can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. Additional demos will be posted in the coming weeks. A U.S and European tour is planned for spring/fall 2011.
